Investiture Ceremony

The 2017-18 Investiture Ceremony of our Prefectorial team was held at our majestic and the renovated Bhavsinhji Hall on the 8th  Sept, 2017. As a part of the legacy of the Public Schools, the Senior students are entrusted with the responsibility of various duties – the making of leaders of our society!It is one of the most important event of Rkc.

The occasion was graced by the parents of students who were to receive their Prefectorial Badges and the  Chief Guest – Dr Vikrant Pandey (IAS) – Collector, Rajkot. The oath taking ceremony was conducted by our Principal, Shri Shankar Singh Adhikari followed by a warm welcome speech.

Dushyantsinh Rana was decorated with the badge of the Head Boy and Sakshi Bhorania as the Head Girl. Hussain Sumbhaniya and Yashwardhan Agarwal were adorned with the badges of Jt. Deputy Head Boys. Aarzoo Dalwania was adorned as the Dy. Head Girl. Apart from them, 06 students were made the Senior Prefects and 10 students as Prefects (Boys/Girls). This year, we had two Flag bearers for the function – 01 Boy and 01 Girl.

Dr Vikrant Pandey, the Chief Guest for the occasion, honoured the students with their badges. It was truly a privilege for the students to be decorated with their respective badges from Sir who has already achieved so much fame at an early age. Dr Pandey completed his MBBS degree in 2001 and then went on to crack the most the prestigious Civil Services Exams to become an Indian Administrative Officer. From the time of his training period in the Academy in Mussorie till date, he has received many accolades for his outstanding performance.

Our Principal, in his speech, congratulated the students on being decorated with their respective badges and reminded them of their responsibilities. He then informed the gathering about the glittering profile of Dr Vikrant Pandey and thanked our Chief Guest for taking out his valuable time to grace the occasion.

Our Vice Principal – Mr. Abijit Das, proposed the Vote of Thanks which was followed by high tea in the front corridors of the Hall.
