The Rajkumar College, Rajkot, adds another feather to its cap by co-hosting the Regional Summit of School Principals alongwith ICTRC for the first time on the 5th December, 2017 in its historical and majestic campus. ICTRC is a national level organisation facilitating educational Institutions, corporate houses, Govt. Organisations and NGOs to realise their full potential by empowering their people in leadership positions and also for guiding adolescents and youth. The objective of this summit is to enhance educational leadership competencies and provide school Principals a platform where they can share their concerns with experts from diverse fields. The Key note speakers were Dr V S  Ravindran, Director General of ICTRC, Prof. Keshav Singh, National Coordinator of ICTRC, Mr Rakesh Parekh, Head of Gujarat Operations (Epson India) and Dr Vishal Varia (Principal – Rosary School, Rajkot).

The conference started on a grand note with the welcome speech from Mr Abijit Das (Vice Principal, RKC) followed by the lighting of the lamp. It was a 3 hours session but had the delegates glued to their chairs. The vote of thanks was proposed by Prof Keshav Singh. At the end, mementoes were presented to the dignitaries.

It was a lively and interesting conference. The key note speaker enthralled the audience with his lecture on the behavioural pattern of the adolescents. His lecture was laced with humour and very good case studies.

Mr Shankar Singh Adhikari, Principal – The Rajkumar College, Rajkot, has always promoted and encouraged such summits and conferences, both for the students as well as for the Staff. He feels that in today’s world you need to keep pace with the changing technology and methods to be on the top. Around 60 Principals from all over Saurashtra took part in this one day summit.
