At RKCMUN’26, let understanding prevail before disagreement defines us.
It is my privilege to welcome you to RKCMUN 2026. This year’s conference holds special significance as we celebrate a decade of the RKC MUN Society, marking ten years since its establishment in 2016. Over this decade, the society has grown from a modest intra-school initiative into a vibrant platform for dialogue, diplomacy, and intellectual engagement.

Guided by this year’s philosophy, “यत्र संवादः तत्र सौहार्दम् (Yatra Samvādaḥ Tatra Sauhārdam)”, the conference reminds us that harmony is not accidental; it is created where dialogue thrives. In a world defined by complexity and differing perspectives, the ability to listen, deliberate, and collaborate becomes the most powerful instrument of progress.

Model United Nations is not a contest of voices, but a test of intellect and composure. The strongest delegate is not the loudest speaker, but the most prepared mind. Speak with conviction, negotiate with purpose, and defend your policy with clarity because diplomacy is not power displayed, but power exercised with disciplined.

As you participate in RKCMUN’26, I encourage each of you to approach every session with preparation, curiosity, and integrity. Debate with clarity, negotiate with purpose, and collaborate with an open mind. It is through thoughtful dialogue that the most enduring solutions emerge.

May this conference be more than an academic exercise. Let it be a space where ideas flourish, friendships are forged, and young leaders learn the art of diplomacy that shapes a more cooperative world.
