A Trip to Mount ABU (31st January 2020 to 2nd February 2020)
We in all 69 students, 3 escort teachers Mr. Manavasingh Varman, Mr. Mukesh Patil, Mr. Ragesh Goradiya and Our Trip organizer Mr. Jalesh Trivedi and his team had Started our trip with cheerful mood at 6.30 a.m. on the 31st January 2020; Friday. We had enjoyed south indian breakfast at Hotel Darshan and reached at Mahesana, where we had lunch by 1:30 p.m. we had set up to leave for Mount Abu at approx.
2.00 p.m. on the way we were very enthusiastic to see the borderline between Gujarat and Rajasthan that Mr. Goradiya has shown us and also explain about Aravali mountain range that, Aravalli, a composite Sanskrit word from “ara” and “vali”, literally means the “line of peaks”
The Aravalli Range, an eroded stub of ancient mountains, is the oldest range of fold mountains in India. We felt that we were in the lap of the range. On the way we had refreshment on the basement of the mount in cool atmosphere. We were much in hurry to reach at Mount Abu, but driver Mr. Nilesh had driven fantastically and very safely on the spirals of Mount so we reached at 7.00 p.m. at our hotel Sunset Inn. We were allotted our rooms and settled then called for dinner and Mr.Jalesh Trivedi had given us the next day schedule.
On the First day in the cool morning we had a Nature walk at 6.30 a.m. around the main attraction of Abu viz. Nakki lake, where our guide Mr. Bhavesh Trivedi had shown us some birds like ibis, magpie, white beak kingfisher etc. and we enjoyed photography at Bharatmata Temple and also explained about the legend of Nakki lake as it was made by deities by using nakh’s or nails. That is why it is famous by the name of Nakki Lake. Go for boating on this lake, and come back with memories which you will cherish throughout your life. Then after finishing our routine and delicious breakfast with three main course we had moved for sight seen.
We moved to market place near by Nakki lake and enjoyed shopping and the famous softy arranged by Mr. Jalesh Trivedi. We returned to hotel had dinner with Chinese food and also celebrated upcoming 150 birthday of our beloved school RKC by cutting cake and sang a birthday song.
We packed our luggage after dinner and were set to leave for Rajkot the next day early in the morning with packed break fast and lunch and other refreshment as arranged on the way. we reached to the Rajkot by 9.30 p.m. on 3rd February 2020; Monday.
