Training

The syllabus for the Junior Division Cadets covers a period of two years and for the Senior Division Cadets it is three years. Except for minor variations, the syllabus is similar for both Boys and Girls. The two elements to the training are Institutional and Camp.

Institutional Training:-

Carried out in school and includes drill, first aid, map reading, physical fitness and weapon training.

Camp Training:-

Here, the young cadets get the thrill and joy of outdoor and community living. The camps also help in developing camaraderie, team-work, leadership qualities, self confidence, self-reliance and dignity of labour among cadets.

Usually, our cadets attend Combined Annual Training Camps (CATC). These camps are held within the State under the aegis of respective NCC Directorates/Units. The camps are of 10 days for the Junior Division Cadets.
