PGT / TGT Teachers:
PGT/TGT Teachers in public schools are responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering lectures, grading assignments, exams and supervising student activities. They must have a strong understanding of their subject matter and be able to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that align with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
Their duties also include evaluating student progress and creating a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaboration with departmental In-Charges, Heads & Teachers to develop effective teaching strategies, classroom management techniques and educational policies is also necessary. They must participate in professional development activities, stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methods & technologies and maintain accurate records. Additionally, PGT/TGT teachers will have to attend parent-teacher meetings, supervise extra-curricular activities and ensure the safety and welfare of all students in the school according to school policies and procedures.
Kindergarten Teacher:
As a Kindergarten Pre-Primary Teacher, you will foster a positive learning environment for young children. You will implement age-appropriate lessons to stimulate early education development. You will also monitor child development and address any learning delays or issues. You should also have a warm, caring and patient personality.
Director of Sports:
As a Director of Sports, you will oversee all sports activities, programs and facilities in the school. You will manage and supervise coaches, trainers and staff. You will also plan and organize sports events, competitions and tournaments to help ensure that the sports program at Rajkumar College is aligned with the overall goals of the institution. You should also have strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal skills and a passion for promoting sports and physical education among students. You will be responsible for ensuring that all sports activities are carried out in a safe & professional manner and that all athletes are properly trained and motivated to excel in their respective sports. You may maintain transparency pertaining to the sports activities under your charge. You will also be responsible for hosting and organizing sporting events/competitions and ensure participation of teams for various competitions outside.
Skill Subjects Teacher:
As a Skill Subjects Teacher, you will instruct students in your respective skill subject area such as, Western Music, Dance Form, Fine Arts or Dramatics. You will design and deliver lessons that enhance students’ creativity, expression and talent. You will also evaluate students’ performance and provide feedback and encouragement. You will also have a high level of proficiency, skill and enthusiasm in your subject area and ability to inspire and motivate students. You will be responsible for training students for various performances in functions and competitions.
Sports Coaches:
As a Sports Coach, you will train student athletes in your respective sport such as, cricket, badminton, hockey, football, basketball, swimming or lawn tennis. You will develop and implement training programs that suit the needs and abilities of different students. You will also ensure that safety protocols are followed during practice sessions and competitions. You should also have a good knowledge of the rules, techniques and strategies of your sport and a positive & motivational attitude towards students. You will be expected to work in close coordination with the Director of Games & Sports, to help ensure that the sports program at Rajkumar College is aligned with the overall goals of the institution. You will also be required to train teams for participation in various competitions and escort the teams.
Child Counsellor:
As a Child Counsellor, you will provide psychological support and guidance to children facing mental health issues or developmental challenges. You will also maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive cases. You should also have a compassionate, empathetic and a strong understanding of child development and behaviour. Preferred PG Diploma in Counselling Psychology and Clinical skills OR PG Diploma in Life Coaching OR Advance Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
Part-time Faculty for Maths (Classes 6-9):
As a part-time faculty for Maths, you will teach mathematics concepts and skills to students from classes 6 to 9. You will prepare and deliver lessons that align with the curriculum standards and the learning objectives of each class. You will also assess students’ progress and provide feedback and support. You will also have a strong command of the Maths subject, a flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
Part-time Faculty for G.K/Value Education (Classes 2-3):
As a part-time faculty for G.K/Value Education, you will teach general knowledge and value education topics to students from classes 2 to 3. You will plan and implement lessons that cover current affairs, culture, history, geography, science and moral values. You will also assess students’ understanding, provide feedback and encouragement. You will also have a broad knowledge of various subjects, a creative and interactive approach to teaching.
Housemistress cum English / Social Science / Science / Maths Teacher:
As a Housemistress-cum-teacher, you will perform dual roles of supervising and teaching students in a residential school. As a housemistress, you will oversee the welfare and discipline of the students in your assigned house. You will also organize and participate in house activities, events and competitions. You will be a foster parent on Campus for the girls under your charge. As a teacher, you will teach either English, Social Science, Science or Maths to students for classes assigned to you. You will design and deliver lessons that cover the subject matter and the curriculum standards. You will also evaluate students’ performance, provide feedback and guidance. You will also have excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and a passion for nurturing and educating students.
