The Peter Rogerson Memorial Searchlight Tattoo
The Searchlight Tattoo was composed and developed over the years by Peter Rogerson, the College’s beloved, late Principal. It has captured the hearts and imagination of thousands of enthusiastic spectators. Its masterful blend of light, sound and movement has no parallel.

Endeavour
Every child eagerly awaits the ‘Endeavour’ to begin. During Endeavour, students and teachers work together to mount colourful displays and exhibitions to showcase to the wider communiuty the highlights of knowledge and understanding acquired during the school year.

Badge & Prize Giving
The two most important school events in our academic year are the Badge Giving Ceremony in the first term and the Prize Giving Ceremony in the second term. The Badge Giving ceremony is an investiture in which the Principal formally confers authority on the new prefectorial team, who pledge allegiance to the time honoured traditions of The Rajkumar College.

Competitions
Competitions – a reason to develop and fine tune skills and enhance one’s physical, mental and intellectual attributes.

The Rajkumar College conducts competitions of various kinds at all levels throughout the year. A Calendar of such events is drawn up with sensitivity to avoid over-lapping with examinations and other academic events.

Navratri Celebrations
Inculcating a sense of culture and unity is the essence of any Indian festival and Navratri in Saurashtra is a portrait of colour, action, music and togetherness.

Since 2005, we have started celebrating Navratri in a Grand manner. Children and Staff organise themselves into groups, practise for a fortnight and perform Raas and Garba for three consecutive evenings.

Excursions
“Travel has a way of stretching the mind.
The stretch comes not from travel’s immediate rewards,
the inevitable myriad new sights, smells and sounds,
but with experiencing firsthand how others do differently
what we believed to be the right and only way”
