“Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”
The Environment Club of The Rajkumar College successfully organised a cleanliness awareness campaign titled “Swachh Classroom, Swachh Surrounding and Swachh the Rajkumar College” from 10th January to 24th January, 2026 at the Senior Day School.
On 10th January, 2026, selected students of Form VII prepared charts, slogans, and placards related to cleanliness under the guidance of their teachers. The activity was mentored and supervised by Ms. Reena Castelino and Ms. Pooja Kochhar, who motivated the students to develop a sense of responsibility towards cleanliness and nature. The students participated enthusiastically and worked with great dedication.
The campaign highlighted the message “Charity begins at home”, emphasising that maintaining cleanliness in one’s own surroundings is the first step towards a clean society. The students displayed a strong determination to drive this motive in a well-planned manner.
On Saturday, 24th January, 2026, the campaign was carried forward across the campus in the presence of Vice Principal Ms. Keyuri Gohil, Academic Coordinator Ms. Bala Sharma, Head of the Environment Club Mr. Manish Raimangia, and other club members Mr. Ragesh Goradiya, Ms. Sapna Somani, Ms. Reena Castelino, and Ms.
Pooja Kochhar. Their encouragement boosted the morale of the students.
The students recited slogans throughout the corridors, visited classrooms, spread awareness among senior students, and encouraged them to take an oath to keep their classrooms clean. The initiative was appreciated by the esteemed authorities, Vice Principal Ms. Keyuri Gohil and Academic Coordinator Ms. Bala Sharma and
motivated the Environment Club members to continue spreading this message all sections of the school in the coming academic session.
