Our school’s NCC unit proudly participated in the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) held at Songadh from 28th June to 7th July, where over 400 cadets from various schools and colleges came together for a rigorous and enriching experience.
Our cadets performed exceptionally well across multiple events. In the shooting competition, Cadets Saif Rehman and Dharvi Sojitra secured first positions, while Cadet Aditya Sodha earned second place. Cadet Banshi Jivani showcased talent in both visual and literary skills by winning third place in sketching and ranking among the top three in essay writing. The Junior Wing girls’ Tug of War team, led by Cadet Hea Shah, won first place, and the Junior Division boys, led by Cadet Hasim Sumbhaniya, were runners-up. Three cadets from our unit were selected for the prestigious flying experience based on their overall performance. Individual excellence was further recognized with Best Cadet awards going to Cadets Vaani Dave and Dharmi Vala (Junior Wing) and Cadet Hasim Sumbhaniya (Junior Division). Cadet Banshi Jivani was also awarded for excellence in health and hygiene. Cadet Hea Shah received triple honours as Best Anchor, Best Sergeant, and Best Troop Commander. Our drill team, commanded by Cadet Hea Shah, secured the runner-up position, missing first place by just 0.5 points. The unit also earned second position in both Best Discipline and Overall Discipline.
