On 23rd February 2026, students of Heritage Club of RKC participated in a Poster Making and Essay Writing Competition organised by the INTACH Rajkot Chapter at Genius English Medium School, Rajkot. The competition was conducted under the theme “Importance of Trees And Their Relationship To Our Lives.”
The event was held in the green campus of the school, where students gathered under the shade of trees, creating an atmosphere that perfectly matched the theme. More than 180 students from about 10 schools participated in the Rajkot round of the event. The competition encouraged students to reflect on the importance of trees, their role in sustaining life and the need to protect the environment.
Representing the Heritage Club of Rkc, the participants included Diya Doshi, Jiya Saxena, Rushabh Patel, Savya Buddhdev and Udayrajsinh Nirmal. Through creative posters and thoughtful essays, the students expressed their ideas about nature conservation and the strong connection between trees and human life.
The team was accompanied by the their teacher Ms. Anupam Aarti Sinha, who guided and encouraged the students during the event. The competition proved to be an enriching and inspiring experience, helping students develop awareness about environmental protection and the value of preserving our natural heritage.
