The shooting team of The Rajkumar College, Rajkot proudly participated in the 20th R. M. Halwai Vadodara District Shooting Championship – 2026, held on 7th and 8th March 2026 at Vadodara. A total of 13 students, comprising 4 girls and 9 boys, represented the school in this prestigious championship.
All the participants demonstrated remarkable discipline, focus, and technical excellence throughout the competition. Their outstanding performances resulted in an impressive medal tally for the school. The team collectively secured 10 medals, including 05 Gold Medals, 04 Silver Medals, and 01 Bronze Medal, bringing great honour and pride to the institution.
A particularly proud moment for the team coincided with International Women's Day (8th March), when Janma Joshi delivered an extraordinary performance. She achieved the highest overall score of the entire championship and secured three individual Gold Medals, making it a historic achievement for the school and an inspiring example for fellow students.
Another remarkable performance came from Bhagyashreeba Chauhan, who showcased exceptional consistency and determination by winning three Silver Medals, significantly contributing to the school’s medal tally.
In Individual men category Satyarajsinh Chauhan won Gold, Siddhrajsinh Zala won Silver and Jayvirsinh Jadeja won Bronze Medal.
The excellent performance of the students reflects the dedication, regular training, and commitment of the shooters as well as the strong sporting culture nurtured at The Rajkumar College, Rajkot.
