Preamble:
It gives me immense pleasure to present the Annual School Report for the academic year 2025–26. The year has been vibrant and fulfilling, marked by a wide spectrum of academic achievements, co-curricular excellence, and meaningful engagements that have enriched the learning experience of our students.
At The Rajkumar College, we remain committed to delivering holistic education—balancing academic rigour with opportunities for creativity, leadership, and global exposure. I now present before you a brief overview of the year gone by.
The academic year 2025–26 reflects our continued focus on excellence and structured academic growth.
- In the Class XII Board Examinations, 142 students appeared, with outstanding results. The highest percentages recorded were 98.2% in science, 97.2% in Commerce, and 96.6% in Humanities. Ten students secured perfect scores in Psychology, Painting, and Home Science.
- In Class X, 164 students appeared, with the highest score being 96.34%, and two students achieving full marks in Artificial Intelligence.
- The school successfully conducted all internal and external examinations in strict adherence to CBSE guidelines.
- The institution was entrusted with key CBSE responsibilities, serving as a Spot Evaluation Centre for Class X and XII subjects and as a Counselling Hub for associated schools. The CBSE SAFAL assessment for Classes VI and IX was also conducted. Additionally, six staff members served as CBSE Resource Persons, further strengthening our academic standing.
- Experiential learning remained an integral part of our programme, with students undertaking educational visits to institutions and heritage sites across Gujarat. A notable highlight was their interaction with the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel while on their visit to the Gujarat Vidhan Sabha.
- A wide range of student-centric workshops were conducted on topics such as emotional intelligence, self-defence, cyber safety, leadership, and innovation.
- Academic enrichment was further strengthened through university fairs, global interactions, and international exchange programmes, including hosting international students, thereby enhancing global exposure and intercultural understanding.
Our students actively participated in various IPSC cultural competitions and brought laurels to the school.
- At the IPSC Visual Art Competition held at Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital, they secured the First Prize in the Cubist Charcoal Portrait event. At the IPSC Art Dance Competition in Jodhpur, the team achieved the Second Position in Folk Dance.
- In the IPSC Music Competition at Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal, our students won the Best Performance Awards in both Solo Classical and Semi-Classical Music. At the Jindal Art Fest, Hisar, they secured Second Prize in Embroidery and Clay Modelling.
- The Annual Cultural Programme, themed “Rahgir Mila Kabir Se”, was held on 24th and 25th December 2025. Directed by the Sumeet Nagdev Academy, it featured over 425 students and was widely appreciated.
- The Cultural Department also presented noteworthy performances during the Round Square Conference and other school events, including MUN, Endeavour, and the Poland Exchange Programme.
Sports continue to remain a strong pillar of student development at the School, marked by enthusiastic participation and notable achievements across levels.
- Our students represented the School across a wide range of sports including Cricket, Basketball, Football, Hockey, Shooting, Swimming, Squash, Table Tennis, Tennis, Taekwondo, and Yoga, delivering commendable performances. Highlights of the year include strong performances in IPSC tournaments, multiple achievements in Shooting, Swimming, and Yoga and other sports at the State and National levels.
- Ladies and gentlemen, I am a proud principal to announce that at the district level, over 300 students participated, securing impressive 121 medals, including 43 gold medals. At the IPSC and State levels, 211 students participated and won an overall tally of 45 medals.
- Cherry on the cake is the selection of 20 students for the SGFI National Championships, and participation in international events such as the Ocean Man World Open Swimming Championship.
- In recognition of sporting excellence, the school has instituted sports scholarships, benefitting 44 students this year, with a total scholarship amount of ₹3,22,000. It is our endeavour to see this support grow further in the coming years, encouraging more students to pursue excellence in sports.
- These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our students and the continued support of our coaches and sports infrastructure.
Outdoor education continues to be an integral part of experiential learning at RKC.
Students across all age groups participated in a wide range of trips, including educational visits to places such as the Statue of Unity and Jaisalmer, adventure trips to Manali and Gir, camps at Anand and Vadodara, and international exposure through an educational excursion to Japan.
It is also our endeavour to ensure that each lodge undertakes at least a one- or two-night trip during the year, aimed at developing team spirit, camaraderie, and independence among students. We have been able to implement this successfully across lodges during the year.
These experiences contribute significantly to building confidence, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of the world beyond the classroom.
The Model United Nations (MUN) Society at The Rajkumar College continues to promote diplomacy, leadership, and global awareness among students.
The highlight of the year was RKCMUN Nationals 2025, which witnessed participation from 115 students representing 12 reputed schools across India, providing a dynamic platform for high-level debate
and intellectual engagement.
The school also successfully conducted its internal conferences, RKCMUN–14 and RKCMUN–15, offering students valuable exposure to structured debate, policy-making, and collaborative learning.
Our students actively participated in prestigious external conferences such as DCMUN, MCGSMUN, WELMUN, SNAMUN, and others, bringing home accolades including Best Delegate, High Commendations, and Special Mentions.
These experiences have significantly enhanced students’ public speaking, critical thinking, and understanding of global issues, reflecting the school’s commitment to nurturing confident and responsible global citizens.
The NCC programme at The Rajkumar College continues to play a vital role in developing discipline, leadership, and a sense of national pride among students.
The year commenced with an Orientation Programme for Form 8 students, followed by key events such as the NCC Rank Ceremony and the Drill Competition, where the Army Wing (Girls) secured the Winner’s
position and the Air Wing emerged as Runner-up.
Our cadets brought distinction through notable achievements, including the Best ANO Award, Best Cadet recognition, and participation in national-level trekking expeditions and camps.
Cadets actively participated in Annual Training Camps across all wings, excelling in areas such as drill, shooting, public speaking, and cultural activities, with several earning special recognition and opportunities such as flying experience.
Exposure to events like the Air Show and participation in community initiatives, including a cleanliness drive, further enriched their learning experience.
Overall, NCC activities during the year significantly strengthened leadership, discipline, teamwork, and a spirit of service among our cadets.
The RKC All girls’ Pipe & Drums Band continues to uphold a proud tradition of excellence and discipline.
They have consistently brought laurels to the institution, showcasing exceptional precision and musical excellence at prestigious platforms, thereby strengthening the school’s cultural and ceremonial identity. This year, they were
awarded the Best Tuned Pipers Award at the IPSC Band Competition held at The Scindia School, Gwalior.
It is also our endeavour to ensure that each lodge undertakes at least a one- or two-night trip during the year, aimed at developing team spirit, camaraderie, and independence among students. We have been able to implement this successfully across lodges during the year.

Community service continues to be an integral part of student life at RKC, nurturing empathy and social responsibility.
During Endeavour 2025, students set up an awareness stall promoting sustainability, encouraging eco-friendly practices through the distribution of paper pencils and recycled bags.
A Blood Donation Camp was organised in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, witnessing enthusiastic participation from staff members.
Students also visited Aekrang NGO, where they extended support through donations and meaningful interactions, fostering compassion and awareness.
The 12th Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club marked the induction of new office bearers, with 31 members taking the oath, reaffirming their commitment to service.
The academic year reflected strong engagement with the Round Square IDEALS through a range of initiatives at local, national, and international levels. It began with a sapling plantation drive, promoting environmental responsibility among students.
Students participated in key Round Square conferences at Sunbeam School, Varanasi (on Leadership), Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Jamnagar (on environmental stewardship), and Singapore International School, Mumbai (Environmentalism), gaining exposure to global perspectives through Baraza discussions, workshops, and collaborative activities.
A delegation also attended the 57th Round Square International Conference in Dubai, strengthening intercultural understanding and global awareness. Students engaged in an international virtual dialogue with Dalton Academy, Peking University, exploring contemporary global themes.
Participation in a service project at Assam Valley School deepened values of empathy, leadership, and social responsibility.
The highlight of the year was the successful hosting of the first ever Round Square Global Conference at The Rajkumar College on the theme “Maned Warriors: Beyond Frontiers,” providing a dynamic platform for experiential learning, international collaboration, and holistic development. It was attended by 236 delegates from 25 schools in India and abroad.
The year has seen commendable professional achievements by our staff. Mr. Arjun Raval completed an internationally recognised certification in Education Management. Ms. Kajalba Jhala published a book chapter with Elsevier and was awarded the SHODH Fellowship by the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat.
Mr. Jaykumar Mehta successfully cleared the ISSF ‘B’ Coaches Course, further strengthening our shooting programme. Ms. Pooja Kochhar completed a PG Diploma in TEFL/TESOL from Canada, and Mrs. Kanta Rajpal was awarded a PhD in Human Resource Management. These accomplishments bring pride to the institution and strengthen the quality of teaching and learning.
The institution continues to invest in infrastructure to enhance learning and living standards.
Key developments include:
● Renovation of 18 washrooms and extensive painting across school blocks
● Installation of another 28 Interactive Flat Panels
● Development of sports facilities including basketball and tennis courts
● Purchase of buses, vehicles, and modern classroom furniture
● Establishment of a brand new Table Tennis Arena
● Upgradation of mess facilities and air-conditioning systems

The year reflected a strong bond between the School and its alumni community. The unveiling of the Mr Wynter Blyth’s bust brought together some of the oldest and youngest Old RKCians—boys and girls alike—demonstrating their enduring affection for the institution.
In January, ORA Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, where distinguished Old Boys and Old Girls were felicitated for their achievements across diverse fields. The occasion also
provided them an opportunity to revisit the campus and relive cherished school memories.

This March, the ORA organised an orientation programme for the outgoing batch, formally welcoming them into the alumni fraternity and strengthening their lifelong connection with the School.
Students actively represented the School in various events organised by the Indian Public Schools’ Conference (IPSC), including the All India IPSC Band Competition at The Scindia School, Gwalior; the Muskan Social Service Project at Mayo College, Ajmer; and the IPSC Students’ Conclave at Daly College, Indore. Students studying French also participated in Le Concours de la Francophonie du Mayo at Mayo College, Ajmer.
Our Pre-Primary section, Priyalok Vilas, continues to make encouraging progress. It provides young learners with a balanced exposure to Indian traditions and global cultures—celebrating festivals such as Ram Navami, Holi, and Dussehra with an understanding of their significance, while also introducing international perspectives through activities like Mexican Week and Songkran celebrations. Values such as respect for family are reinforced through occasions like Grandparents’ Day, and the Annual Day stands as a reflection of this thoughtful approach. These early experiences equip our youngest RKCians with essential life lessons, preparing them for their academic journey and overall development.

The most significant and demanding initiative of the year was the academic reorganisation undertaken to better address the needs of both the day school and the boarding. This step, taken in the best interest of our students, was made possible through the understanding and support of all stakeholders. I extend my sincere thanks to everyone for their cooperation in this endeavour, the outcomes of which will be visible in the near future. None of these achievements would have been possible without the collective effort of our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and committed students. At The Rajkumar College, we continue to strive towards excellence with clarity of purpose, preparing our students not just for examinations, but for life.
