The academic programme progresses from strong foundational learning in the Primary years to conceptual understanding, critical thinking, independent inquiry and practical application in the higher classes. The curriculum encompasses English, Hindi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Environmental Science, Science, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Studies. At the Senior level, students can pursue Science, Commerce or Humanities, with a range of subject options to suit their interests and aspirations.
Interactive teaching, differentiated instruction, meaningful assessments, academic competitions, quizzes and Olympiads foster curiosity, problem-solving and a love for learning. A dedicated and experienced faculty, supported by continuous professional development, provides guidance and academic support. The student–teacher ratios are 1:15 in the Primary, 1:12 in Junior School and 1:17 in the Senior Day School.
Creativity, Communication and Expression
Students are encouraged to explore their talents through recitation in English, Hindi and Gujarati, storytelling, debates, elocution, creative writing, poetry, drama and theatrical performances. Spell Bee, Mental Mathematics, General Knowledge competitions and handwriting activities further strengthen intellectual abilities and communication skills. Art, craft, music, dance, exhibitions and cultural programmes provide platforms for imagination, artistic expression and confidence.
Experiential Learning and Global Exposure
Educational excursions, field studies, workshops, hands-on projects and industrial visits connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. Senior students gain valuable insights through visits to institutions such as the National Stock Exchange, Bombay Stock Exchange and National Institute of Securities Markets.
Initiatives such as RKC Model United Nations (RKCMUN), Skill Sphere LEAD, ENLIGHTEN MUN and Round Square Conferences develop leadership, diplomacy, collaboration, critical thinking and global awareness. Enrichment clubs, including Astronomy, Heritage, History, Environment, Myra, SSDM, BIS Club and Creative Corner for Rising Angels, encourage exploration beyond the formal curriculum.
Sports, Culture and Well-being
Yoga, athletics and indoor and outdoor sports promote fitness, discipline, resilience, teamwork and sportsmanship. Participation in IPSC competitions in General Knowledge, Yoga, Dance, Music, MUN and Band encourages healthy competition and all-round development. Navratri celebrations, rangoli-making, annual cultural programmes and the Annual Exhibition nurture cultural appreciation, creativity and a sense of belonging.
Values, Community Service and Future Readiness
The College nurtures empathy, compassion, integrity and social responsibility through community initiatives, including the Interact Club in association with Rotary and Rakhi-Making activities. A strong partnership between parents and teachers further supports students’ academic progress and well-being.
Career guidance through the Career Counseling Club, university interactions, workshops and the Access USA initiative familiarises senior students with higher education opportunities, including international university pathways.
