The Interact Video Awards 2019

The Interact Club of The Rajkumar College Rajkot, India wins the “Best Video ” in the 2019 Interact.

Rotary International organised its 11^th Annual Interact video awards in year 2019. In the Interact video awards, Interactors has to create a short video of (3 Mins) to show how their club is setting an example of “fun with difference” benefitting to the school and community.

More than 200 videos around the world from various Interact clubs of their service projects have been submitted and our school’s Interact club was amongst them.  Our video had glimpse of various service projects, which our Interact club have done since 2011 for our adopted Khankhana village.

Previous year we have displayed this video in the International Interact club conference held at Vapi, Valsad District and got lot of appreciation from the viewers.

In the competition, videos were judged on the basis of Appropriate to purpose, Originality, Creativity and Overall video quality.  The “Best Video” would receive US $1000 for the club’s next project.

Out of 200 Videos, 8 videos were selected as the finalist. Those 8 finalist Interact club countries were CANADA, BRAZIL, ROMANIA, ARUBA, REPUBLIC OF TUNISIA, NEPAL, SAN SALVADOR and INDIA. Amazingly our video of service project was among the first 8 finalists.

Rotary International initially announced three runners up videos on 11^th 12^th and 13^th January, 2020. Those were, Interact of Electi San Salvador Sur from SAN SALVADOR, Interact Club of  Rey De Cartago from Republic of TUNISIA, and Interact club of Ullens IBDP from NEPAL.

Finally on 14th January 2020 judges unanimously declared Interact Club of the Rajkumar College, Rajkot, INDIAS’s video as the ‘BEST VIDEO’ in the 11^th Annual Interact video awards 2019. Judges were impressed with our creativity, storytelling and service to our community.
