MUN Conference from 17th August to 19th August by The Cathedral School, Mumbai
A delegation of six students and a teacher participated in the 28th CMUN hosted by The Cathedral School of Mumbai. More than 318 students from IPSC, CBSE and International Schools participated in this event.
The conference began with an opening ceremony followed by a speech delivered by a retired Lieutenant General Arun, whose oratory skills mesmerized all present. The PPT that followed was informative and ended up into an interactive session. Subjects like self-control, hard work, discipline etc were discussed at length. Para Olympics, to what stream students would like to choose; and how MUNs are shaping the future generation to become abled diplomats; were also the highlights of the deliberations.
Next two days were full of research, debates, lobbying and brain storming on different world issues, where these young minds came up with different and innovative solutions.
The closing ceremony initiated by The Cathedral School Principal, Dr.Sonal Parmar emphasized the importance of education and discipline. Thus, our journey of learning new view points and sharing our knowledge and making new acquaintance came to end with lots of memories and new experiences.

The 10th edition of the WELMUN and the KAMERA OBSCURA was hosted by The Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun and was held from 8th to 10th August, 2024. A team of 7 delegates escorted by an escort teacher attended the conference. This year, the theme for the WELMUN conference was ‘Concordia Discordiae’, which translates to ‘A Harmony of Discord’. The world thrives on diversity, yet progress demands unity. The participants got engaged in diplomatic simulations, that allowed them to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, fostering a deeper understanding of global affairs.
