Sport occupies an important part of College life for Boarders and Towners and our students are passionate about their sport and justly proud of their distinguished heritage.
There are sprawling playing fields with comprehensive facilities. A carefully planned programme for physical education includes age-wise coaching for athletics, basketball, cricket, football, hockey, rifle-shooting, swimming, tennis, table-tennis, gymnastics and volleyball. There is regular participation in district, state, national and IPSC tournaments.
A uniquely designed Cricket School provides specialised coaching for all ages. The Waddington Gymnasium now fully-equipped is a great boost for physical development. The Ranji Bath, restored and extended provides aquatic activities for all ages. Equestrian sports have been introduced. House-wise competitions for all games at different levels are held throughout the year.
The College has been a springboard for no fewer than seven Test cricketers including the legendary Ranjitsinhji and Duleepsinhji whose names honour the Indian national tournaments – the Ranji Trophy and the Duleep Trophy.
