The industries were the Udyog Bharti Khadi unit in Gondal and the Jaltex Textile unit in Jetpur. The aim of the visit was to understand the intricacies of the textile industry. Visit to Marwadi University, Rajkot

“The goal of education is not to increase the amount of knowledge but to create the possibilities for a child to invent and discover, to create men who are capable of doing new things.” – Jean Piaget

On 4th September 2023, 45 students of Form 9 accompanied by two faculty members visited the Computer Engineering department (Artificial Intelligence-branch) of the Marwadi University as part of an educational field visit.

The objective of this visit was to provide an exposure to students by educating them about Artificial Intelligence and Robotics technology as well as to teach them how to use AI wisely.

Some faculty members along with some volunteer students of the Computer Engineering department of Marwadi University guided and explained to our students in detail about AI and also gave an on-screen demonstration of some AI projects. The question & answers session between students of RKC and the faculty of Marwadi was educative and lasted for about half an hour.  After this, followed a visit to the Robotics club and volunteer students of Marwadi further explained about their robotics projects, tools, 3-D printer etc.

The visit ended at about 1.00 PM in the afternoon and our students returned to the school campus having learnt something new and beneficial.  It is indeed a well-recommended visit, especially for IT/AI/CS/IP students.
