World Earth Day

World Earth Day is celebrated each year on April 22nd. It is celebrated by people all across the world as an effort to protect our planet. It was a great day to commemorate the significance of environmental education and highlight the efforts of making ours a greener school. This was done by our principal Mr. Yash Saxena and staff members of Priyalok Vilas getting together to plant a mango sapling while the students engaged themselves by coloring worksheets and headgears among other activities. The whole block of Priyalok Vilas was also decorated with the work done by the students.

Together we can celebrate everyday as Earth Day by each one of us making an effort to bring about a difference.

Songkran

The students of Priyalok Vilas celebrated Songkran on 13 April 2023. Songkran is Thailand’s most famous festival. An important event on Buddhist calendar, this water festival marks the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year. Children enjoyed the festival by splashing water on each other with their colorful water guns and used tumblers under the water sprinkler in the priyalok Vilas courtyard. Such celebrations bring the students closer to each other’s traditions and cultural beliefs and develop respect and understanding for each other’s customs and traditions.
