NCC Quiz Competition

On December 27, 2023, at Bhavsinhji Hall, the NCC Quiz Competition was held and witnessed by NCC cadets from the 8th and 9th forms. The aim of organizing this event was to familiarize the cadets with both their common and specialized subjects in NCC. 2nd-year cadets from the Army Wing Girls, Army Wing Boys, Airforce Wing, and Navy Wing participated enthusiastically.

The team of Army Wing Girls, consisting of Cdt Khushi Unadkhat, Cdt Mahek Ved, Cdt Meera Samani, and Cdt Tejaswini Gadhvi, secured the first position in the competition.

Form 2 and 3 Music Competition

Music is the soul of our school and it came to life at the Music Competition of the Primary Section. The young students put up a magnificent performance at the competition. The exuberant participants displayed their musical talent as they rendered their Indian tunes confidently and meticulously. All the participants were well appreciated by the judges and each one’s unique style made the competition a great success.

Form 1 Yoga Competition

Yoga is incredible and a part of our ancient culture. Yoga enhances concentration, memory, mental health and physical health.

Form 1 students of The Rajkumar College have participated enthusiastically in the Yoga competition. Various Yoga poses were performed beautifully by the students.

LEGO Robotics workshop

Date: December 21, 2023 (Thursday)

Participants: All teachers from the science and computer departments

Overview: The workshop on LEGO robotics held at Boys School Multimedia was a resounding success. Shobhit Rathi and the ROBOTECH LAB team brought their expertise to the forefront, providing valuable insights into the world of robotics through LEGO. Fancy Dress competition at Priyalok Vilas

Fancy dress show was conducted on 16 December, 2023 by Group 2 students of The Priyalok Vilas at Bhavsinhji hall. The purpose of conducting the fancy dress show was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them opportunity to speak in front of the audience. Children were dressed in colorful costumes and had props. They spoke few sentences on the character that they depicted. The efforts put by teachers and parents’ imagination and creativity was highly commendable. All Group2 sections had different themes such as Sea &Beaches, Incredible India and World around me.

 

 

Christmas celebration at Priyalok Vilas

Christmas was celebrated with great fervor at Priyalok Vilas on 21st December 2023. Children were dressed up in red and white clothes. The Priyalok block was decorated by the worksheets and crafts done by the students. The story of Christmas was shown and narrated on this day.  The much-awaited entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement of the students. The joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all children present. It was a joyous event for everyone.

Lower Senior House Cycling Trip

 

A total of 22 boarders enthusiastically participated in the winter cycling trip organized for the Lower Senior House on 24th December 2023. The students were accompanied by a team of staff members comprising of Mr Braj Kishore Mishra, Mr Kunal Chaphekar, Mr Arun Rathod, and Mr Vipul Dave, who ensured that the students had a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the trip.

The cycling excursion took place in Kangasyali, where the young explorers had the opportunity to engage with nature and experience its beauty first-hand. Not only did they have a fantastic Sunday outing, but they also had the chance to foster stronger bonds with their peers outside of the academic and school environment.

We strongly believe in providing a holistic education to our students at our institution which goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. Such excursions not only contribute to the students’ physical well-being but also enhance their understanding of nature and promote camaraderie among them.

 

VISIT TO A VILLAGE

As a part of Experiential Learning of Civics chapter “Rural Administration “students of Form 6 C, D, E & F, visited a village Pal near Lodhika on 19th & 22nd of December, 2023.

They were taken to Gram Panchayat office, Fair Price shop, Anganwadi and Government School. They also got an opportunity to meet and interact with a lady Police officer Ms.Surbhi Keshwala who explained  them in detail about the working of the Police in rural area.

The trip gave the students a first-hand/real life experience of “Rural India”.

 

Social Science Experiential Learning

“Learning by doing is the only way I know to learn.” –  Tony Fadell.

Keeping this quote in hearts the students of Form 8 went for a field trip to learn more about Bio – Gas plant, its working and how to utilizes the liquid manure. The students visited a farm of one of the Old Boy’s where they observed a Bio-Gas plant, drip irrigation and the advantages of using these techniques in farming. The students also noted down the observations in a Graphic Organizer.

The learning turned into a life time memory which forced the students to think about different ways in which organic waste can be managed as well as conservation of water through different means.

Hindi Recitation Competition
