“The Journey of Thousand miles start with one step”

The school had organized an educational tour to Dev’s camp – Best Resort Near Vadodara and Gujarat’s Most Favourite Eco Tourism destination, located at Dholikui Panchamal spread over 15 acres and just about 35 -40 kilometers, towards Ajwa lake, there were 41 students and three in charges – Bhavna Rathod , Harita Dave and Preeti Raval.

Once you step out of the tents, there are no concrete jungles anywhere and no man-made structures in the vicinity for miles together. The venue also offers the rare combination of adventure, education and activities like trekking and bushwalking, to name a few. Here is the detail report.

DAY-1 12th February 2020

On 12th February, we started our journey from RKC at 6:30 am and reached Dev’s camp at 4 pm. There we stayed in tent house with bunk beds. Dev’s camp had lot of fun activities like rain dance and swimming pool etc. then we had delicious dinner and went for night trekking and got to know more about nature. After trek we had camp fire where we celebrated Neha’s birthday and had hot Maggie and cake.

DAY-2 13TH February 2020

 Next day we enjoyed different adventure activities like rope activities and 400mt Zip Line. After lunch we visited the Bird- Aviary where we saw several species of bird like cocktails, parrots, African tail parrot and different kind of reptiles like – Iguana and Chameleon. We took them on our hands also. Then we got to ride eco-friendly Go- Carts. In The Afternoon We Visited The Statue Of Unity Which Is 182 m Tall. It was informative .There we visited the Museum and the Gallery. At 7 PM we saw amazing laser show regarding Sardar Vallabhai Patel’s Life. Then We Returned To the Camp and Had Our Dinner.

DAY-3 14th February2020

 

Last day we did archery and enjoyed kaya-king a boating in the river. We got to learn how to ride a bout. Then we did artificial rock climbing which was very thrilling. Then we left back for rajkot and had over lunch on the way. We reached at our school safe and sound by. 7:30 pm. it was our most memorable and exciting trip.

All through the journey, all of us had enjoyed variety of delicious food, tent and cottage accommodation was also very nice and up to the standard, we really appreciate trip organizers efforts
