As part of our cultural and patriotic celebrations, a Rakhi-making activity was conducted on 26th July, 2025 for the girls of class 6, 7 and 8. The event aimed to foster creativity, celebrate the festival of Raksha Bandhan, and instill a sense of gratitude and respect toward our armed forces.
Students enthusiastically participated in designing and crafting beautiful rakhis using various materials such as threads, beads, mirrors, and eco-friendly items. The activity provided a platform for self-expression and showcased the artistic talents of our students.
After the activity, all the rakhis were carefully reviewed, and prizes were awarded to the top designs:
To make the celebration more meaningful, all the handmade rakhis were collected and sent to Indian soldiers posted at different locations as a token of love, respect, and appreciation for their selfless service to the nation.
The initiative was met with great enthusiasm and served as a beautiful reminder of the bond between civilians and our brave defenders. It was a successful event, combining tradition, creativity, and patriotism.
