LEAD-I Leadership Programme: A Transformational Journey of Learning, Leadership and Lifelong Memories
A team of three girls—Durva Dangar, Geet Torania and Jesal Herma—along with their escort teacher Ms. Avani Jadeja, attended the Leadership Education And Discover India Programme (LEAD-I) hosted by Maharani Gayatri Devi Girls School, Jaipur, from 23rd November to 6th December, 2025.
The LEAD-I Leadership Programme was an unforgettable blend of inspiration, learning, cultural exploration and joyful experiences. The students had the rare opportunity to engage with distinguished personalities such as Lt. Gen. Kulkarni, former Director Mayo College, Ajmer, wildlife conservationist Tiger Princess of India Dr. Latika Nath, and renowned adventurer Mr. Ajeet Bajaj, whose sessions helped the girls think differently, learn new perspectives and build strong leadership qualities. These interactions filled them with confidence, courage and a sense of responsibility The meticulously designed programme offered structured Leadership Capsules focusing on essential 21st-century skills such as self-awareness, emotional intelligence, resilience, perseverance, problem solving, decision making and design thinking. Sessions like “Mindful Mastery,” “Art of Leadership,” “Resilience and Perseverance,” “Problem Solving and Decision Making,” along with the powerful Mini Leadership Project, helped the participants reflect deeply, collaborate meaningfully and discover their strengths as emerging leaders.
Alongside academic and leadership enrichment, the programme beautifully celebrated India’s heritage through engaging Incredible India sessions. The vibrant Craft Bazaar provided enriching hands-on learning in Blue Pottery, Tie and Dye, Block Printing and Puppet Making. Cultural evenings filled with Garba, Ghoomar, Bhangra, classical performances, music and dance created spirited moments of joy and togetherness. Yoga, meditation, self-defence training, indigenous games, outdoor sessions and collaborative art activities helped build discipline, confidence, creativity and teamwork. Reflective experiences such as “Ties That Bind,” Letter Writing sessions, exhibitions and the Gratitude Vault encouraged students to express gratitude, appreciate their journey and internalise their learning. A remarkable highlight of the programme was the Agra–Ranthambore tour, which beautifully combined adventure with education. The visit to Agra gave the girls an appreciation of history and architectural magnificence, while the thrilling Ranthambore safari brought them close to wildlife, nature and conservation efforts. The excitement of spotting animals, the beauty of the forests and the sense of wonder made this experience truly unforgettable.
Beyond structured activities, the programme’s greatest strength lay in the friendships and global connections it fostered. Meeting students from schools across the globe helped the girls develop cultural understanding, respect and collaboration. They laughed together,
learned together and supported one another, forming bonds that will be remembered for years to come.
The LEAD-I experience truly empowered our students—helping them grow, discover their potential and return with immense pride, gratitude and unforgettable memories. They arrived as delegates and came back as confident, compassionate and inspired young leaders, ready to shape the future with conviction and grace.
