Six students — Devarsh Shah, Naitri Mehta, Vani Singh, Kavyaba Sodha, Nitya Dwivedi and Twisha Patel — participated in the Round Square International Conference held at The Singapore International School from 18th February to 21st February, escorted by the teacher mrs Jasmine Kanabar.
The teambegan with , registration and ice-breaking activities that helped delegates from different schools interact, build friendships and exchange cultures while becoming familiar with the conference schedule. The delegates attended an inspiring keynote session on leadership and global citizenship, followed by Baraza discussions where students shared views on important global issues. These sessions strengthened teamwork, communication and empathy. focused on community engagement. Delegates visited Bhavan’s to learn about cultural heritage and explored a rescue centre, gaining awareness about social responsibility.
The NGO Mela provided insight into various social initiatives and real-world challenges.The conference concluded on Day 4 with a beach cleanup drive promoting environmental responsibility, followed by the closing ceremony and a musical night celebrating participation and teamwork. Overall, the Round Square Conference provided valuable
learning experiences, encouraged service towards society and helped delegates develop confidence, awareness and meaningful global connections.
