The Photography Club organized a Nature Photography activity on 23 November 2025 (Sunday). The theme given to the students for this activity was “Nature Photography.” A total of 32 students, including both boarders and day scholars, participated enthusiastically.
They were accompanied by three teachers: Ms. Vasundhara Singh, Mr. Ragesh Goradiya, and Mr. Sandeep Deshmukh.
As part of the activity, the students were taken for a nature walk and photography session at Niyari Dam, where they captured various elements of nature such as different species of birds, the sunrise, plants, and trees.
The participants were briefed and clearly instructed on the following criteria:
1. The photograph must relate to nature and must be taken by the student during the activity.
2. Keep the photograph clear, well-focused, and properly lit.
3. Use good composition techniques (angle, framing, and balance).
4. Show creativity in capturing the scene.
5. Do not disturb plants, animals, or the surrounding environment.
All students woke up early in the morning and reached the school premises by 5:30 a.m. The group returned to the school at 9:00 a.m. Their dedication and passion for photography were truly commendable. Despite being from different classes, they demonstrated excellent teamwork, helped one another, and enjoyed the learning experience.
The activity not only enhanced their photography skills but also helped them develop a deeper appreciation for nature and the importance of responsible observation.
Overall, the Nature Photography activity was a great success, leaving students inspired and motivated to continue exploring photography as an art form.
