On 28 December 2025, the students of the Lower Senior House visited the Half Way House at Khakhana Village as part of an experiential learning activity. The visit was escorted by the following teachers: Mr. Sheetal Savita, Mr. Braj Kishore Mishra, Mr. Ujjwal Sharma, Mr Arjun Raval, Mr. Summit K, Mrs Vasundra Singh, Mrs Prachi
Deshmukh and Mr. Sandeep Deshmukh.
During the visit, the students actively participated in various hands-on activities. They collected firewood, learned basic outdoor survival skills, and prepared food independently. The students cooked tea, Maggi, egg bhurji, and corn fry, gaining practical exposure to teamwork, self-reliance, and resource management.
The activity provided meaningful experiential learning, helping students understand the importance of cooperation, planning, and responsibility in real-life situations. The visit also encouraged bonding, confidence-building, and respect for simple living and sustainable practices.
Overall, the visit to the Half Way House was a valuable and enriching experience, successfully meeting its learning objectives and leaving a lasting impact on the students.
