Bearing in mind our School’s mission Statement, it is going to be my endeavour to restore Rajkumar College’s prestige and glory of yesteryears. To make this historical institution a place to be reckoned with and a coveted one.
An institution where academic and sporting activities set a bar of excellence that is second to none. An institution that reaches out globally in thought and ideology producing future global leaders who will be known not simply for their superior work ethics, but also for their moral and ethical values.
It is my personal desire to make this campus a happy one, where faculty trusts and works together. A place where we understand, that a win-win situation can only be fostered and promoted if everyone is successful. A school of magnificence where humility, trust, excellence and strength of character, are the pillars that the faculty and students imbibe. An institution that produces role models par excellence irrespective of age.
Like any great revolution or change, a leader or a visionary cannot work alone. He needs the guidance from all the stakeholders, past and present and their experience. This I write with great hope and certainty that the only motive we shall all have from here on is to push this school towards greater and higher heights.

ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL –
MR YASH SAXENA
Yash Saxena is an alumnus of various convent Schools of the country and did his Master’s degree from the illustrious Govt. College, Ajmer.
He joined Mayo College, an elite and prestigious all boys boarding School, as a Master of Geography way back in ’98, where he held various positions of responsibility such as Coordinator of the Department of Geography, Housemaster of the largest boarding house of the school – Oman House, Staff Secretary and last but perhaps the most important the Round Square Representative of his School.
He has set high academic standards for students under his tutelage and received two personal commendation letters from Minister of HRD Mrs. Smriti Irani for producing best ever result in West region of CBSE for Class XII.
Yash took over as RS Rep in 2011 and has since then attended 9 International Conferences.
He was a member of the Core Organizing Committee of the 2009 International Conference and was also the Secretary General of the Global Conference for 11-13yr olds in 2017.
Yash has established many mutually beneficial and rewarding student exchanges with RS Schools worldwide and has motivated Mayo College students to participate in nearly all RS International Service Projects, Big Build Projects and Environmental Projects.
One of his most satisfying initiatives has been to amass an unprecedented 17000 man hours of community service per year for three consecutive years.
He has been awarded Gold Medal in 2005 in appreciation of dedicated involvement and commendable services, in trying conditions, to render relief to the Tsunami victims in the field of Education at the Andaman & Nicobar Islands for a month by Shri. Praful Patel, Hon. Minister of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India.
He has been a pioneer in propagating the ethos of RS by organizing the first ever Intra RS Conference at Mayo College in 2018 which was attended and hosted by the students of Mayo College. It has now become a Calendar Event for each year at Mayo.
He also held the position of Service Projects Coordinator of the South Asia & Gulf Region.
As the Deputy Headmaster of The Lawrence School, Sanawar, he has led the Dodransbicentennial events and celebrations from the forefront. He has been instrumental in inculcating the recommendations of NEP 2020, especially the experiential learning at The Lawrence School. He was also the officiating Bursar at The Lawrence School, Sanawar for about 07 months.
A keen Sports and Adventure Activities enthusiast, Yash also has a strong inclination for Cricket, Swimming, high Altitude Trekking & SCUBA diving.
He brings in versatility and enriched experience to be disbursed to students as he has travelled to more than 30 countries.
Due to his cheerful disposition, social skills and ebullience, he has won many a friend in the Public School World over the years.
