| HEALTH, HYGIENE AND SANITATION
Students used a set of hand-made placards to better explain the importance of Health and Hygiene, both when it comes to one’s body and their surroundings. Discussing and addressing everything from basic self-care norms to the most recent addition to our routines – Prevention of COVID-19. The sessions were conducted with props and engaging back and forth between the members and the students. GAMES AND SPORTS Various outdoor and indoor games and activities had been arranged to make sure the students felt both, active and alert while learning important steps of one’s routine – one being, exercise of the mind and body. There was a show of camaraderie and competitiveness during Kabaddi, Dog and the Bone, Hopscotch, etc. LECTURE DEMONSTRATION ON BHARATNATYAM It was an informative session on the intricacies and nuanced nature of the Indian Classical Dance form Bharatnatyam for teenage girls. ENTERTAINMENT SESSION This session included performances from members of the club to end the day on a positive note and make sure the students had a good time. The children seemed to enjoy thoroughly after a tiring day of games and lessons. |
